Publish the show portal and QR code

Make selected show inventory public without exposing private dealer data.

The public show portal gives collectors a mobile view of inventory assigned to one event. Its QR code opens the same portal.

Availability and permissions: The dealer needs both Offers and Storefront. You need Manage inventory to activate or end the show. A collector does not need dealer access to view the public portal.

Prepare the portal

  1. Prepare the show inventory.
  2. Verify customer-facing images and effective show prices.
  3. Remove any item that should not be shown publicly.
  4. Open the portal preview from the show.
  5. Test the QR code on a second device.
  6. Change the show from Draft to Active only when the public view is correct.

The portal shows public sales information, not dealer-only cost, profit, private notes, or storage details.

Understand the show statuses

  • Draft: internal only; the public portal is not live.
  • Active: the portal is live and can accept supported collector actions.
  • Ended: a filtered, read-only archive remains available.

An ended archive is not a full historical snapshot. It shows only entries that remain safe for public display: the item is still in stock and available, its listing is active, and it has no active hold. New saves and offers are disabled.

Allow collector offers

An offer action appears only when:

  • Offers remains enabled for the dealer,
  • dealer-level offer intake is turned on,
  • the card's offer setting allows offers,
  • the show is Active, and
  • the collector is signed in.

The collector's submission does not complete a sale. It enters the dealer's offers and holds queue for review.

Manage offers and holds

End public selling

After the event, change the show to Ended with Manage inventory. This stops new public selling actions while keeping internal sales and close-out work available.
