Manage profile and preferences
Separate internal and public profile data, then set language, display currency, and time zone correctly.
Only the dealer owner can open Settings. Managers and staff cannot change these values.
Internal profile
Open Settings, then Profile. Your name is optional and is used for your personal dashboard greeting, such as “Good evening, Daniel.”
This name is internal. It is not the public dealer name and does not appear on the Storefront.
Public profile
Under Public Profile, maintain these areas separately:
- under Dealer Profile, the Display / Business Name and phone number,
- under Social & Links, website, Instagram, TikTok, X, Whatnot, and eBay,
- when Storefront is enabled, the banner, profile image, description, location, and Storefront address.
The display or business name, website, and social handles can appear publicly. The account email and internal name from Profile remain private. A phone number is published only when the Storefront feature is active and Show phone number on collector portals is enabled.
Save Dealer Profile, Social & Links, and the Storefront editor separately.
Preferences
Open Settings, then Preferences:
- Language changes supported localized surfaces.
- Currency is the display currency. Amounts are displayed using the daily rate; existing monetary data remains stored in the dealer workspace's base currency.
- Timezone controls date display and how show days and daily totals align.
- Select Save Changes.
Language, display currency, and time zone are saved for the dealer workspace and carried across your devices. After changing them, review show dates and monetary amounts before continuing live work.
Display currency does not rewrite saved prices, costs, or sales. It changes only how supported surfaces display amounts.
