Create a show
Create an internal show workspace or link it to a public directory event.
A show brings together assigned inventory, pull status, show-day operations, sales, and post-show reporting for one event.
Availability and permissions: Shows must be enabled for the dealer. You need Manage inventory to create or edit a show and to change its status.
Create the show
- Open Shows in the sidebar.
- Select New show.
- Start typing the show name.
- Select a matching Card Shows Directory event to prefill its name, venue, address, and dates, or choose the custom-show option to enter your own event.
- Add or verify Table #, Start Date, and End Date.
- Keep the status set to Draft during preparation.
- Select Create Show to open the detail page.
Selecting a directory result links the show to that event. Typing a custom name creates a normal unlinked show. A directory event can be linked only once to the same dealer.
Choose the correct status
- Draft is the internal working status. The show is not public. You can already assign inventory, work through the pull list, use Show Day, and associate sales with it.
- Active publishes the show in the collector portal.
- Ended removes the show from active public selling and leaves a filtered, read-only archive.
Active and Ended are available only when both Offers and Storefront are enabled for the dealer. Without that public-portal entitlement, keep the show in Draft; internal preparation, Show Day, and show-linked sales still work.
Review the details
Use a name that will still make sense months later. An event name, location, and year are usually more useful than an internal abbreviation.
Example: Card Convention Frankfurt 2026
Before assigning inventory, verify:
- start and end dates,
- venue and address,
- table number,
- directory link, if used,
- current status.
You can edit these details later with Manage inventory.
