Use multi-item checkout
Record several Show Day items as one atomic transaction and create a receipt.
Multi-item checkout records several items from one show in a single transaction. Use it when one customer buys more than one item at the booth.
Availability and permissions: Multi-item checkout is available from Show Day and requires Record sales. Every line item must belong to the same show. A cart supports at most 200 line items.
Build the cart
- Open the correct show in Show Day.
- Find the exact item and select Add to Sale.
- For a stackable item, enter a whole quantity no greater than the available stock.
- Verify the line price. It is the total for that line's selected quantity.
- Repeat for the customer's remaining items from the same show.
- Open the sale cart and review every identifier, quantity, and price.
Do not mix inventory from different shows in one cart. Use separate transactions when the items do not share the same show.
Set the transaction total
You can keep the sum of the line prices or enter an agreed combined total. When you override the total, CaseLink allocates the difference across the line items to the cent.
Review the final total before charging the customer. The allocated line values become the recorded sale values used by inventory and reporting.
Complete the sale
- Select the payment method.
- Confirm that payment succeeded.
- Submit the cart once.
- Wait for the completed transaction before starting another checkout.
The save is atomic: either every line is recorded and its inventory updated, or none of them are. If CaseLink reports a conflict or insufficient stock, reload the current inventory state, resolve the affected line, and submit again. Do not recreate already completed lines.
Create the receipt
After completion, open the transaction receipt. Check the items, quantities, allocated prices, total, payment method, and show. You can print, copy, or share the receipt using the available device controls.
